NEW Series/Author to CheckOut

Larissa Lone - Demonica Series Available 6/24/08
6/29/08 JUST FINISHED READING THIS BK When I read the description for this book I was expecting a superficial, dime store style, paranormal romance. I was So Wrong and Pleasantly Surprised. This book exceeded my expectations. I could not put this book down. The author presents a fresh story line, diffrent and intriguing and makes it work. Its well thought out and detailed. The introduction of various demons was described through out the story in a non-complicated style. The author made me care about the characters she developed. She was not afraid to shock me or twist my emotions up and make me cry and/or cheer for them. The HOT romance, the dark intrigue and suspense intertwinded equally and kept me captivated till the very end. This is an EXCELLENT Story..I give it: Three Tissues and Five Stars
Yeah it made me cry.

Hello and Welcome

My name is Freyjah and you are welcome to browse The Asgard Reading Room.
I am using this room to talk about the books I am reading. I like to take notes when I read. So this will give me a place to keep my outline of significant charters and events organized. This will be a place for me to keep track of new releases and their release dates.
I read mostly Paranormal Romance and occasionally Horror/Suspense and Bestseller Fiction.
I like series books, thus the note taking. Be fore warned, my posts titled "Notes" may contain "SPOILERS".

FINISHED READING

I couldn't wait for this book to come out. This is one of my favorite series. Very popular on the message boards too.
This is book 6 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward. affectionately known as DBD.
Lover Enshrined
The main focus of this book is to tell the Vampire Warrior, Phury's story.
Phury has become the Primale of the Chosen. He is obligated to father all the sons and daughters of the elite warrior race. ( to mate with approx. 42 Chosen females). This will ensure their survival and provide warriors to prevent their extinction. A group known as the Lessening Society, headed by the Omega, exist for the sole purpose of eradicating the entire vampire species.
The war between the two continues in this book. Pury finds himself falling in love with his Chosen first mate, Cormia and questioning his decision to be Primale. He struggles with internal demons, his lack of self confidence and self pity.
This installment of the series has some plot surprises and out comes that only explain why this series is so addictive.
Phury's story is the main focus of the book but as his story unfolds so does the story of the other brother's and the Lessening Society. The book remains fast paced because Ms Ward doesn't stay on one character long enough for me to get bored. She also keeps the recapping to a minimum and brief. If I hadn't read the previous books I wouldn't have grasped the motives behind the characters behavior thus missig the true tone of the book.
EXCELLENT SERIES...&...EXCELLENT BOOK

Decision Made

I am not undecided!!
I REALLY Want a Kindle.
I am going to get one.
I just have to be patient and save up for it.
Physical books are great but I am running out of room to store them. I don't have the heart to sell them, they are like new. I have abandoned the idea of ever having a dedicated reading room.
So the Kindle will be a solution.
It holds hundreds of books and more with a San disk. Books are purchased through Amazon and transfer via wireless Wispenet. I can bookmark and keep notes on the Kindle. It comes with Dictionary look up and free access to review and update Wikapedia without connecting to a computer. I can choose to receive the morning newspaper or a magazine, wireless, to the Kindle.
I can even subscribe to my favorite Blog site. ( 99 cents/month)
and/or
listen to Jazz music as I read. It plays Mp3 music files.
Its Perfect for me!!
I just wish it wasn't so ugly
and so
Freaking Expensive
